SCENES
Camping with care for natureWe are currently in the final stages of the process to become part of the global SCENES-network (Scout Centres of Excellence for Nature, Environment and Sustainability). This certification, awarded by the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), highlights our commitment to nature conservation, sustainability, and environmentally friendly management of our site. Although the process is still ongoing, we are close to receiving official recognition.
Looking for adventure?
What does this mean for you as a camper?
As a scout, you can take part in unique (nature-based) activities, such as assisting in scientific research or learning more about local biodiversity. Moreover, all our programs are aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ensuring that together we make a positive impact.
Building a Sustainable Future Together
Our volunteers and campers play a crucial role in preserving and improving our site. Whether it’s planting trees, creating hedgerows, or saving water and energy — together, we are building a better world. Behind the scenes, we are constantly working on green initiatives, such as:
Waste separation and recycling
Maintaining flora and fauna with respect for biodiversity
Using green energy and sustainable materials
